At Cia's Palette, our goal is to make your shopping experience with us a great one. We've worked very hard to make our website simple to navigate, easy to understand, and fun to look at. If there's anything you notice about the site that doesn't work or seems unnecessarily confusing, please let us know - we know there's always room for improvement.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, personal checks (drawn on U.S. bank accounts only), and U.S. Postal money orders. On large international orders, we may require payment by direct wire transfer (we'll contact you with the details). Credit card orders placed before 1:00 PM Central Time (1900 GMT) are usually shipped on the same business day. Orders placed after that time will be shipped on the following business day. When paying by personal check or money order, please allow approximately 2-3 weeks for your check to arrive and your payment to clear.
All payments must be made in U.S. dollars.
We go to great lengths to make sure our fabric scans and photos are as color-correct as possible (we check everything on at least three different computers and several different types of monitors in order to get a good "average" ). Monitors vary, however, so there may be slight variations from computer to computer. For that reason, it's a good idea to make sure that your computer's monitor is adjusted properly. Very basic instructions may be found here. If your current project requires an exact color match, we're happy to mail you up to five swatches free of charge so you can see them for yourself. Simply send us a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your requests included and we'll send them right out. Due to the labor and expense involved in cutting and mailing swatches, additional swatches are $1.00 for two. Please include a check or money order with your request if you require additional swatches.
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If we make a mistake, we'll fix it. Simply contact us within 14 days from the date you ordered and we'll arrange for a refund, exchange, or adjustment--whatever's appropriate (we'll also refund the shipping cost if the return is the result of our error). Once fabric has been cut from the bolt, it is not returnable unless the mistake was ours, so PLEASE--if color is critical, write to request a free swatch before you place your order. Returned fabric must be unwashed and in like-new condition. Books must be in their original, undamaged condition (please pack book returns carefully--if a book has been damaged, we may, at our discretion, charge a restocking fee or refuse to accept it). If you know what you're looking for, and you're forced to dig through page after page of fabric that nobody would ever want or use, it sort of defeats the purpose. We're not trying to stock every fabric under the sun, and we're not trying to be all things to all quilters. Because I'm passionate about fabric and about quilting, my goal is simple: to sell only fabric that I LOVE. First quality, beautiful prints, great colors - in short: only the good stuff. If I see a deal on something nice, I'll get it and I'll pass the savings along to my customers. But I promise you, I will never, ever stock something simply because it was cheap. :)
